Edinburgh

Edinburgh

The ale mother
With all her doubts
Listened to the pibes
and the organ crowds

chorus
It is all about a town
a merry go round
If you´d been there
you know the sound

Traffic off course
and peoples chat
A seagull scream
and a pibe on top of that

On a cliff so cruel
A medieval castle so pure
The volcano so quiet
will give you a cure

The hearts of the people
filled with pride and joy
Under the playful steeple
I discover a little boy

Waiting for the dog to move
Seven years that dog sat
on a grave so groove
didn´t chase neighbors cat

chorus
It is all about a town
a merry go round
If you´d been there

you know the sound

When I woke up
with a hangover cold
My voice was sour
And I felt so old

A cofee shop offered
a tea and a smile
I watched the parade
on the royal mile

chorus
It is all about a town
a merry go round
If you´d been there
you know the sound
